THE 2013 DURANGO IS THE LEADER OF THE PACK!!! Not quite as large as a Chevy Suburban, the leaner Durango is no less capable, offering a choice of a V6 or HEMI V8 engine, 2- or 4-wheel drive and four well-equipped trims. The Durango's small size doesn't ask consumers to sacrifice interior room, comfort or the ability to tow over 6,000 pounds. In V6 form, the Durango offers a strong alternative to vehicles such as the GMC Acadia, Honda Pilot and Ford Explorer. But when equipped with the available 5.7-liter HEMI V8, the Durango can out-tow and out-muscle any V6, with a tow rating of 7,400 pounds and a whopping 360 horsepower. You'll Like This Car If... If you require a vehicle that can carry seven people, tow up to 7,400 pounds and still fit easily into your garage, the 2013 Dodge Durango tops a very short list. Thanks to its unit-body construction and sturdy design, the Durango is an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick.

CALL MIKE@ 970.819.7700 OR 970.879.8880 The 2013 Dodge Journey maintains its mid-size crossover SUV vehicle status, offering room for up to seven passengers, but with pricing and fuel economy figures on par with smaller SUVs, such as the Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester. In terms of quality and design, the Journey's interior is a cut above most, full of high-end features and clever storage compartments demanded by families on the go. In the second row of seats are under-floor storage compartments, while the front passenger-seat bottom lifts to reveal more storage space. But the best part of the 2013 Journey is its available V6, which we think is one of the most powerful, smooth-running and fuel-efficient V6 engines on th For overall performance and peace of mind, we'd recommend going with the Pentastar V6. Step into a Journey Crew or R/T trim and you'll find various interior color choices in rich fabrics or plush leather. Soft-touch surfaces abound, and the big 8.4-inch touch-screen audio system, featuring the Uconnect suite of communication and connectivity options, is one of the best, most intuitive systems available. On the versatility front, the 2013 Dodge Journey mid-size SUV features a flush-folding third-row seat and second-row seats that can slide fore-and-aft (making access to the third-row seat a bit easier). Upper-level trims also have a flat-folding front seat that increases the cargo floor right up to the dashboard. What's New for 2013 For 2013, the Dodge Journey gets more equipment added to its various trims but with no price increase. AVP and SE trims get new 17-inch wheels, while the R/T models have a $1,000 price drop. New standard features on the Crew trim include leather seating, heated steering wheel and heated front seats. Driving the Journey Driving Impressions Although the 2013 Dodge Journey might look as though it would ride and handle like a tall SUV, the feeling we experienced seemed more in keeping with a well-man

Ford Super DutyUsed Ford Super Duty #1 in Heavy Duty Pickup Trucks An Innovative mobile office to keep you connected to the office and features a Smooth ride for a big truck, Best towing capacity in class, Quiet yet powerful diesel engine, The 2012-13 Ford Super Duty ranks 1 out of 4 Heavy Duty Pickup Trucks. This ranking is based on our analysis of 26 published reviews and test drives of the Ford Super Duty, and our analysis of reliability and safety data. Reviewers say the 2012-13 Ford Super Duty is the best heavy-duty pickup truck in its fiercely competitive class. The small group of people who need supremely able trucks know that things like towing capacity and torque are some of the most important elements in a heavy-duty pickup. Test drivers say that not only do the Ford Super Duty trucks have the best capabilities in their class, but they have the nicest cabins as well. If you need a truck that can earn its keep, you should know that the Ford Super Duty F-450 can tow more than any other heavy-duty truck on the market. The Chevrolet Silverado HD can haul a slightly heavier payload in the bed, but the difference between the two is only about 100 pounds. Test drivers love the Ford Super Duty’s innovative Work Solutions system, which lets owners track tools, print invoices and manage other trucks in their fleet from an in-dash computer. Reviewers say the Super Duty’s interior may look a bit more dated than more recently updated competitors like the Ram Heavy Duty, but they note that the Super Duty’s features remain easy to use and the seats are still especially comfortable. If you don’t need the outsized towing and hauling abilities that the Super Duty provides, you’ll be far better off with a full-size pickup like a Ford F-150, which is easier to drive around and gets better gas mileage. *Deal must be verifiable and all current rebates and inc

CALL MIKE@970.819.7700 OR 970.879.8880 The 2013 Taurus takes the full-size sedan to new levels, delivering a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride, with the adept handling and driver feedback usually found in a more enthusiast-oriented car. Credit for the Taurus' excellent driving dynamics goes in part to "torque vectoring" and "curve control" modules. These systems use very slight brake force applied at specific wheels to improve the car's steering when moving rapidly around tight corners. From the driver's seat, we found the sightlines to be better than expected, but the wide B-pillar located just over the driver's shoulder and thick front and rear pillars somewhat hindered our view to the side. Fortunately, the Taurus' exterior mirrors are a vast help, as is the optional "BLIS" system that warns of objects too close to the vehicle's side when changing lanes. Ford's new 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine has no problem delivering power with no perceptible turbo lag...

CALL MIKE@970.819.7700 OR 970.879.8880X32 Completely redesigned last year, the 2013 Ford Focus goes through some trim level simplification on the conventional side of its lineup but carries over the Focus Electric unchanged and adds a new dimension to the family with the high-performance Focus ST version (reviewed separately). A dynamic player in the super-competitive compact segment, the Focus matches its Ford One global design heritage with avant-garde styling and loads of premium touches that progressively build through S, SE and Titanium trim grades. Available as a 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback, the Focus is a match for any of its key rivals, including the Chevrolet Cruze, Dodge Dart, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte Mazda Mazda3, Nissan Sentra and Toyota Corolla. Under the Hood All conventional 2013 Focus models are fitted with a naturally-aspirated, direct-injected 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that uses Ford's twin-independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT). This smooth, free-revver makes 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque and can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. CALL MIKE@ 970.819.7700 OR 970.879.8880 It's not much of a stretch to declare the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee the finest version ever to wear the storied nameplate. Designed during the reign of Mercedes-Benz over Chrysler, the 2013 Grand Cherokee enjoys the benefits of this short-lived marriage by borrowing parts of the M-Class platform. The result is a vehicle so rigid and tight that it makes older Grand Cherokees feel like centuries-old rickshaws. A stunning interior bolstered by cutting-edge infotainment and electronics systems awaits the lucky occupants while, underneath, Jeep's legendary 4-wheel-drive (4WD) systems prove the Grand Cherokee hasn't gone weak when it comes to its off-road capabilities. Along with the Laredo, Limited and Overland trims, there is a new Trailhawk model, as well as the performance-oriented, 4WD-only SRT8. The Jeep Grand Cherokee's impressive on- and off-road driving dynamics come courtesy of its all-independent suspension. This setup allows a smooth on-road driving experience, yet possesses enough travel to make quick work of difficult off-road obstacles. Add to the mix Jeep's Quadra-Lift air suspension (4WD models only) and the performance only gets better. Quadra-Lift gives a greater ability to overtake large objects (like rocks) or to ride lower at high speeds, creating more stable handling. As for power, all three of the Grand Cherokee's available engines don't disappoint, from the fuel-efficient yet powerful Pentastar V6, to the stump-pulling 5.7-liter HEMI V8, to the SRT8's audacious 470-horsepower HEMI V8. The Grand Cherokee's power-assisted steering feels better connected to the wheels and, with careful attention to springs and shock absorbers, the wheels feel better connected to the road.

A wide model range spans the spectrum, from the basic 2-door soft-top Sport, to the maxed-out trail-blazing Rubicon. The Wrangler Unlimited includes a stretched wheelbase and four doors, as well as an available removable hard top with configurable roof panels. Powered by Chrysler's new Pentastar V6, the Jeep Wrangler for 2013 delivers an excellent balance of power and fuel economy; the Wrangler is also one of the last off-road vehicles still to offer a manual transmission.

CALL MIKE AT 970.819.7700 OR 879.8880 What's New for 2013: Improvements for the 2013 Wrangler include new seats with larger side bolsters, additional interior lighting and an available Alpine speaker system. Changes to the soft top make it easier for one person to operate, and there is a new premium cloth option that is easier to clean and triple-layered for better sound deadening. Driving It Driving Impressions What we like best about the Jeep Wrangler is that it still delivers the things that make off-roaders happy. Among those attributes are separate body-and-frame construction, live axles front and rear and enough ground clearance to drive over a (large) sleeping dog without doing damage to dog or the Jeep. Despite the tall center of gravity, oversized tires and rudimentary suspension, Jeep engineers have done a remarkable job of taming the beast within, endowing this newest Wrangler SUV with precise steering and a suspension that keeps the tires in secure contact with the paved surfaces beneath it. Off-road, the 2013 Wrangler is everything you want in a 4WD trail rig, given its ability to poke along at a walking speed. Add real horsepower to the crawling, and favorable gearing for the hauling, and you arguably have the most competent Jeep Wrangler in the brand's 70-year history. Favorite Features 3.6-LITER PENTASTAR V6 Jeep's Pentastar V6 is the final piece in the Wrangler puzzle. With ample power, smooth operation and decidedly improved highway fuel economy, this engine suits the Wrangler like a well-worn glove. And, when equipped with the available 5-speed automatic, refinement goes up while losing very little – if any – capability or efficiency. ELECTRONIC DISCONNECTING SWAY BAR When the off-road trail gets seriously treacherous, the Wrangler's front sway bar can be electronically disconnected, which allows greater wheel travel. Once back on paved roads, a push of a button reconnects the sway bar.
